Oh my goodness, after almost 7 days of not feeling well I am back! I apologize for my inconsistency over the past several days, I just could not get the content together for these posts. I typically plan and shoot the photos a few weeks before it actually goes live. However, I leave the actual written content until a day or two before just because I feel like its more authentic that way. Anyways, with that came in the inability to stay on track in the midst of awful symptoms that have recently been affecting so many. Thankful to be on the mend and happy to be back here sharing these 4 products with you!
For Christmas, my Mom gifted me with some new makeup to try and I have to say I am fairly obsessed. Since using these products, it’s safe to say I have a new regime and have found that my makeup lasts longer- without that mid-day shine that seems unavoidable. So here are the 4 new products I think you’ll love:
- Lancome Bienfait Tenité Beauty Balm– I use an array of moisturizers and top it off with sunscreen each morning. I thought that base was good enough until I introduced this beauty balm into my routine. It acts like a tinted moisturizer and covers my skin creating a clear canvas by itself while still allowing my to layer the foundation and powder if I am headed somewhere important that day. If I am spending the day working from home or simply running to workout class, I will use this beauty balm with one swipe of mascara!
- IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation– I will rarely wear foundation and powder (unless we are shooting blog photos or headed to a fun date night). This foundation is max coverage but doesn’t feel heavy. And best of all, I don’t find that I am shiny mid-day, forced to apply another layer of powder. I put this foundation on in the morning, top with power and know I am set for the day.
- IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Airbrush Perfecting Powder– A little bit of this powder goes a long way! The coverage alone is great for a more natural look but flawless when paired over the Bye Bye Lines Foundation. It does what it says and that’s achieve an airbrush look on my skin.
- IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes– Last but not least, I’ve been loyal to a Dior Show Black Out Mascara since high school. I never think of switching but since Hello Lashes was gifted to me, I wanted to give it a try- and it’s a WIN! I don’t get a tone of volume but the length I achieve with this mascara is so pretty. It depends on what you’re seeking but I love this formula and it doesn’t flake at all throughout the day which is hard to find.
Has anyone else noticed that Kim Kardashian West has been sporting a very au natural look on this season of Keeping Up? I have and I love it! Although it takes a little more than one would suspect to get this look, I am confident that all it takes to feel your best is clear skin (or the illusion of it), a touch of bronzer and swipe of mascara.
What are your beauty must-haves? I hope you’re having a great Wednesday!
