Pack for Girls Weekend

Pack for Girls Weekend

Happy Monday! I am extra sleepy today as I travel back from my cousin’s bachelorette party in Miami. It was such a fun girls weekend celebrating the soon-to-be Mrs. As I packed on Friday morning (seriously so unlike me to leave it until the last minute), I wanted to share what I packed with you all since it was very limited. See, we surprised the girls with really cute welcome bags (more on these Wednesday) but this left me with no packing space for clothing, shoes, and the list goes on! With all the welcome bag materials in a massive rolling suitcase, I opted for a weekender bag for all of my items! I don’t know how I did it but I did…. with limited space and a clear plan of outfits, I managed to fit everything I needed.

Here’s what I packed with no room to spare:

  • 2 swimsuits and 2 pool/beach outfits– I knew our days would be spent pool side or at the beach so I didn’t worry too much about packing actual outfits for Saturday and Sunday. Rather, I threw in 2 adorable swimsuits, this suit (top & bottom) was my fav. I also packed and this jumpsuit and a chambray off-the-shoulder dress. These day items were just what I needed!
  • 2 going out outfits- I packed this chambray romper and this bright floral dress for our evenings out on the town! They were comfortable and perfect for our fun nights toasting the bride-to-be!
  • 2 pairs of heels- I packed just two pairs of shoes, including these rock stud heels which I can’t live without. Both pairs featured a block heel as I wasn’t sure where or for how long we’d be walking in the evenings!
  • Other- Excluding the obvious travel items (makeup, toiletries, etc.) I also included a pair of flat slides (for the beach), 2 pairs of jeans (just in case I got cold!), 2 comfy t-shirts and of course some sunglasses.

All in all, my weekender bag was SO heavy but it zipped just fine! The best part about using the weekender for my items was this morning when I went to pack up, the massive rolling suitcase was empty as I had already gifted the girls with the welcome bags! Therefore, I was able to easily transfer all of my items into the roller, fold up the weekender bag and hit the airport with ONE bag! Best feeling ever because I don’t know that I’ve ever traveled somewhere and come back with LESS stuff haha.

Finally, I wanted to share some fun songs to get ready to with your girls! Oftentimes, I find that the best memories are made while everyone gets ready together, champagne in hand and some fun jams in the background. Here are just a few songs we had on repeat:

Girls weekends are so much fun but it’s the best feeling going home. I can’t wait to see Mack and the puppies here soon! I hope you all have a great Monday!

Thanks so much for reading today!
