Hey there!

Nordstrom Sale Under $100

Feb 22, 2017

Sleeveless Turtleneck | Jumpsuit | Cold Shoulder Dress | “Be Wine” Tank | Statement Heels | Fringe Clutch

I am never one to be ahead of the sale! I know there were a ton of great President’s Day sales this weekend but I didn’t take advantage of any of them, until I came across the Nordstrom sale (naturally)! As I remain in this odd limbo between trying to buy winter staples on sale (deets on that soon) and spring items at a reasonable price, I was so excited to see so many great spring items in this sale. In fact, this dress is already on its way to me in the mail! I pulled some additional items that are living in my cart but I don’t have a ton of time to think about it since this sale wraps up on Sunday. Let me rationalize with you myself about why I need each item (other than the fact that everything is under $100):

Sleeveless Turtleneck– I am always cold! The spring and summer make dressing especially challenging since the record breaking temps outside are greeted by 60 degrees whenever a door to a restaurant or store opens. Therefore, I am always in need of fashionable turtlenecks as I really do wear them year round. This one is great because it has a mock neck and high side slits to take advantage of the breeze if outside for an extended amount of time. I think this would be so cute paired with my jeans shorts, similar to this look here.

Jumpsuit– I adore a good jumpsuit and like that this one is on the dressy side. I have a few jumpsuits but one sports palm leafs and the other bold stripes haha you get the point! I love jumpsuits and think the lace detailing on this one deems it appropriate for date night whereas my other jumpsuits are just reserved for relaxed weekends.

Cold Shoulder Dress– I feel like we all already know what we like. For me, this dress is going to be perfect all spring and summer for workdays. Granted, I work in a boutique which allows a casual setting for me to dress to my liking. This dress will be on repeat because it gets so hot here, the thought of putting on jeans is the worst!

Be Wine” Tank– Well because we all need a cheeky tank! Whether going to the pool or traveling in comfort, a printed tee is what I grab for above anything else.

Statement Heels– Spring and summer are so carefree that a fun pair of heels is essential! I love this pair because although neutral they offer a little touch of sparkle through the block heel- LOVE that! As I audit my closet before spring, I’ve noticed I don’t have ANY fun heels. They are all neutral and quite frankly boring which is fine for my daily use. But in case I want a fun, statement heel, these heels definitely have the right idea!

Fringe Clutch– This bright clutch is adorable! I think this would pair great with a simple romper, LBD or with bright colors for a bold look. One of my favorite bloggers, Katey McFarlan of Chronicles of Frivolity, always finds the best way to pair brights. I may try to bring out my inner Katey with this clutch!

What closet items do you want most as warm temps arrive? We’re almost there… I can’t believe Spring Break season is just around the corner!

Have a great Wednesday! Thank you for spending a few minutes with me today.
